6 декабря 1901 г. в России могла пройти первая "молчаливая демонстрация" с участием студентов. Гениальная идея с отличным выбором даты. Но креативную идею не оценили массы!
Из записки начальника Санкт-Петербургского Охранного отделения:
"По другим агентурным источникам среди студентов Университета, технологов и лесников агитируют устройство демонстрации 6 будущего Декабря у Казанского собора.
Назначенный день благоприятен для демонстрантов по следующим соображениям: 1) Тезоименитство ГОСУДАРЯ ИМПЕРАТОРА и присутствие ЕГО ВЕЛИЧЕСТВА в столице 2) день ангела СПетербургского Градоначальника Генерал-лейтенанта Клейгельса и 3) первый день празднования ВЫСОЧАЙШЕ утвержденного Корпусного праздника чинов Отдельного Корпуса Жандармов. При таких условиях агитаторы предполагают, что администрация не примет энергичных мер к предотвращению демонстрации, каковая по программе должна заключаться в одиночном выходе из храма и остановке на площади перед колоннадой, причем толпа будет в полном смысле безмолствовать, никаких речей, песен и вообще какого-либо шума, а равно распространения листков демонстранты себе не позволят. Таким образом действий демонстранты предполагают поставить полицию в затруднительное положение и дискредитировать ее бездействие в глазах посторонней публики, или же вызвать осуждение за насилие ничем невызванное.
Громадное большинство студентов не сочувствует этой демонстрации и если бы таковая состоялась, то в ней могут принять не более 400-500 человек."

On December 6, 1901, the first “silent demonstration" with the participation of students could take place in Russia. A brilliant idea with an excellent date choice. But the creative idea was not appreciated by the masses!

"According to other intelligence sources, among university students, technologists and foresters, they are campaigning for a demonstration device on December 6 at Kazan Cathedral.
The appointed day is favorable for the demonstrators for the following reasons: 1) Name of the Emperor and the presence of HIS MAJESTY in the capital 2) day of the angel of the St. Petersburg Mayor, Lieutenant General Kleigels and 3) the first day of the celebration of the HIGHEST approved Corps holiday for officers of the Separate Corps of Jandas. Under such conditions, agitators suggest that the administration will not take vigorous measures to prevent a demonstration, which, according to the program, should consist of a solitary exit from the church and a stop on the square in front of the colonnade, and the crowd will be completely silent, no speeches, songs, or any demonstrators will not allow themselves noise, as well as distribution of leaflets. In this way, the demonstrators intend to put the police in a difficult position and discredit their inaction in the eyes of an outsider, or cause a conviction of violence for no reason.
The vast majority of students do not sympathize with this demonstration and if it took place, then no more than 400-500 people can take part in it. "
