На презентацию книги «Ultima-Thule – арктические исследования» я ехала мрачной и задумчивой. Выходя из дома даже подумала, может, вообще никуда не ехать? Но как-то заставила себя.
И вот, участникам подарили по книжке и счастью моему нет предела. Издание с невероятно красивыми иллюстрациями, на хорошей бумаге. Весит почти 3 кг, но я радостно тащила ее домой, прижимая к груди. В общем, коллекционная, потрясающая вещь.
P.S. Любопытный факт: если с работой все не так гладко, как хотелось бы, то ты чудесным образом чуешь, где можно бесплатно подкормиться. На презентации был фуршет. И это уже не первый фуршет, на который я успешно и случайно попала.

At the presentation of the book Ultima-Thule - Arctic Studies, I rode gloomy and thoughtful. Leaving home, she even thought maybe she shouldn’t go anywhere at all? But somehow she forced herself.
And so, the participants were presented with a book and my happiness has no limits. Edition with incredibly beautiful illustrations, on good paper. It weighs almost 3 kg, but I joyfully dragged it home, clutching it to my chest. In general, a collectible, amazing thing.
P.S. A curious fact: if everything is not as smooth with work as we would like, then you miraculously sense where you can feed for free. At the presentation there was a buffet table. And this is not the first buffet that I successfully and accidentally got into.
