Почему-то я думал, что современные технологии вполне позволяют разобрать предложение и, хотя бы на этом уровне, перевести его правильно.
Почему-то я думал, что затраты на создание такой системы порядка двух лет работы одного программиста и двух лет работы одного лингвиста (не считая интерфейса, как его оценить —- не знаю, но его сложность слабо зависит от качества перевода) + операционные затраты на перевод предложения порядка затрат на 10 секунд показа HD-видео (youtube вроде как справляется).
Почему-то я думал, что для google 5 человеко-лет на создание translate.google.com —- не много.
Где я ошибаюсь? Или при заказе неосторожным посетителем сэндвича с копченой индейкой войска США делают из бедной Турции копченый сэндвич, выгнав ее, предварительно, из НАТО?
