Ребе Шолом Дов-Бер основывает ешиву "Томхей-Тмимим".
Во время свадебной трапезы ребе Иосеф-Ицхока ребе Шолом Дов-Бер провозгласил основание ешивы, в которой будут сочетаться изучение раскрытой Торы и Торы хасидизма.
- Десять лет, - сказал ребе Шолом Дов-Бер, - я думал об основании этой ешивы. И на протяжении этих лет многократно посещал святые могилы моего отца, ребе Моараш, и моего деда, ребе "Цемах-Цедек".
- Основание ешивы - не только ради Торы. В Торе, слава Б-гу, нет недостатков. Существует множество ешив. Цель - "зажечь свет", - чтобы изучали раскрытую Тору, и изучали хасидизм в тесной связи, чтобы было, "с чем идти на рынок".
- Просьба моя, обращенная к Нему, благословенному и вознесенному, чтобы пролил на ешиву, которую я основываю сегодня, с помощью Него, благословенного, - дух б-гобоязненности, дух Служения и действия, дух добрых качеств, дух принятия ига Царства Небес.
Через два года ночью Симхас-Тейро 5659 года, во время Акофейс, сказал ребе Шолом Дов-Бер: - Ешива, основанная милостью Б-га высшего, - нет у нее пока названия. И ныне нарекаю я ей имя "Томхей-Тмимим". Поскольку задача ешивы [заключена в том,] чтобы Тора Все-вышнего раскрытая, и Тора хасидизма были полны, и тогда она [- Тора -] возвращает душу.
- Имя ешивы - "Томхей-Тмимим", а студенты, обучающиеся в ней и ведущие себя в соответствии с ее духом, называются "Тмимим". Дающий Тору, благословенный и вознесеннный, благословит учащихся и поддерживающих [ешиву] материально и духовно.

“Ten years,” said Rebbe Sholom Dov-Ber, “I was thinking about the foundation of this yeshiva.” And over the years, he repeatedly visited the holy graves of my father, Rebbe Moarash, and my grandfather, Rebbe "Tsemah-Tsedek."
“The foundation of the yeshiva is not just for the sake of the Torah.” In the Torah, glory to Gd, there are no shortcomings. There are many yeshivas. The goal is to "light the light" - to study the revealed Torah, and to study Hasidism in close connection, so that there is "something to go to the market with."
- My request, addressed to Him, blessed and ascended, to shed on the yeshiva that I found today, with the help of Him blessed, is the spirit of God-fearing, the spirit of Service and action, the spirit of good qualities, the spirit of accepting the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven.
