Яков оставил дом отца своего и отправился в Харан - в дом своего дяди Лавана. Двадцать лет Яков провел в доме обманщика Лавана, в окружении, ставящем [невыносимые] препятствия на пути выполнения им Торы и заповедей, и, в особенности, - воспитания [в духе Торы] детей. Несмотря на это, Яков видимым образом смог победить и поставить на ноги двенадцать Колен Израилевых, [целое] поколение, следующее прямым путем и преданное Все-вышнему и его Торе.
Сила, позволившая Якову устоять перед испытаниями Изгнания, была дана ему ангелами Земли Израиля. Перед выходом из земли Израиля в Харан они провожали Якова, охраняли его и дали ему силы перенести атмосферу Земли Израиля также за ее пределы.
После того, как Яков преуспел в выполнении своей задачи и вернулся в землю Израиля, ангелы Земли Израиля снова вышли ему навстречу для того, чтобы ввести его в Землю, как написано: "И Яков пошел своей дорогой, и повстречались ему ангелы Все-вышнего". Однако, на этот раз, это были уже не ангелы-хранители, а ангелы славы.
Также и мы. Мы находимся в Изгнании для того, чтобы исправить и очистить мир, распространить святость Земли Израиля за ее пределы. Силы, необходимые для преодоления тягот Изгнания, были даны нам еще до его начала, - это [наши] "ангелы-хранители". Сейчас, когда мы находимся в завершении Изгнания, когда мир уже подготовлен к Освобождению, [как в истории с Яковом,] - задача ангелов не в том, чтобы дать нам силы для действий в Изгнании. Сегодня ангелы несут нам силы ощутить крылья свободы. Это уже не ангелы-хранители, а ангелы славы, идущие к нам из Земли Израиля, подготовить нас к вступлению в нее с наступлением Освобождения.

Jacob left his father’s house and went to Haran, the house of his uncle Laban. For twenty years, Jacob spent in the house of the deceiver Laban, surrounded by [unbearable] obstacles to the fulfillment of the Torah and the commandments, and especially the education of children [in the spirit of the Torah]. Despite this, Jacob was apparently able to defeat and put on his feet the twelve Tribes of Israel, the [whole] generation, following the direct path and devoted to the Almighty and its Torah.
The power that allowed Jacob to withstand the trials of the Exile was given to him by the angels of the Land of Israel. Before leaving Israel in Haran, they escorted Jacob, guarded him and gave him the strength to transfer the atmosphere of the Land of Israel also beyond its borders.
After Jacob succeeded in carrying out his task and returned to the land of Israel, the angels of the Land of Israel again came to meet him in order to bring him into the Earth, as it is written: "And Jacob went his way, and the angels of the Most High met him" . However, this time, they were no longer guardian angels, but angels of glory.
So are we. We are in Exile in order to rectify and purify the world, to extend the holiness of the Land of Israel beyond its borders. The forces necessary to overcome the hardships of the Exile were given to us even before it began - these are [our] “guardian angels”. Now that we are at the end of the Exile, when the world is already prepared for the Liberation, [as in the story of Jacob,] - the task of the angels is not to give us strength to act in the Exile. Today the angels carry us the strength to feel the wings of freedom. These are no longer guardian angels, but angels of glory, coming to us from the Land of Israel, to prepare us for entry into it with the onset of Liberation.
