В послании, посвященном вопросам развития приходской жизни, Святейший Патриарх Московский и всея Руси Кирилл призвал с особой любовью и вниманием относится к тем, «кто едва переступил порог храма».
Его Святейшество напомнил о необходимости «развития в мирянах чувства сопричастности к жизни Церкви». «Каждый клирик или мирянин, в той или иной мере несущий ответственность за различные стороны приходской жизни» призван осмыслить это и подумать как реализовать эту идею в служении Богу и людям, — отмечается в послании Патриарха Кирилла.
Предстоятель Русской Православной Церкви призвал «обсудить эту тему на епархиальных и приходских собраниях, а также пастырских совещаниях епархиального и благочиннического уровня», «обсудить неформально, не для отчета в Московскую Патриархию, но с полным пониманием важности этой темы для жизни всей Церкви».
Святейший Патриарх также заметил, что размышления о развитии приходской жизни должны простираться не только на активных прихожан, регулярно приходящих в храм. Недопустимо равнодушно и недоброжелательно относится к тем, кто приходит в храм впервые.
«Внимание по отношению к приходящим в храм, любовь о Христе к ищущим Его — наша обязанность, проистекающая из слов Спасителя: «Приходящего ко Мне не изгоню вон» (Ин. 6:37)», — напомнил Первосвятитель.
«Радуюсь, что в очень многих приходах прилагаются усилия к тому, чтобы с любовью и радушием встретить тех, кто еще со стеснительностью озирается в пока еще незнакомом месте — храме Божием, — говорится в послании. — В городских приходах, где возможностей для этого больше и где есть такая необходимость, организовываются дежурства священников и миссионеров-мирян. Этому способствуют, в том числе, постановления Архиерейских Соборов и Священного Синода, предполагающие введение в благочиниях и на приходах должностей катехизаторов и миссионеров и разъясняющие обязанности таких сотрудников».
«Важно, чтобы за этими решениями последовали не только назначения соответствующих должностных лиц, но и реальная, живая работа путеводительства ко Христу», — заявил Святейший Владыка.
По мысли Патриарха, каждый, кто недавно открыл для себя дорогу к храму, «должен встретить здесь подлинную любовь и приветливые разъяснения того, как устроен храм, чем живет приход, как принять участие в его жизни».
«Основная задача ложится на мирян, приходских миссионеров, на добровольцев из числа активных прихожан», — подчеркнул Святейший Патриарх.
Он также отметил, что на сложные вопросы прихожан, касающиеся духовного развития и тяжелых жизненных обстоятельств приходские пастыри призваны отвечать «проявляя должное терпение, не уклоняясь от общения под предлогом усталости или недостатка времени», сообщает пресс-служба Патриарха Московского и всея Руси.
