в Ледовом Дворце пройдет грандиозный турнир по смешанным единоборствам M- 1 Challenge 35, посвященный пятнадцатилетию организации M-1. Одним из самых обсуждаемых и ожидаемых для всех поклонников, уже стал бой между Александром Емельяненко и Джеффом Монсоном. Джефф «Снеговик» Монсон выйдет на ринг в специально разработанной командой дизайнеров форме с фирменной символикой «Grizzly Man».
Спортсмен из прославленной команды American Top Team по прозвищу "Снеговик" уже три раза бился на турнирах под эгидой M-1 Global. Начал он в прошлом году, боем против Федора Емельяненко на переполненной арене СК "Олимипийский" в присутствии 22000 зрителей. Тот бой Джефф уступил по решению судей, но уже тогда запомнился российским поклонникам смешанных единоборств своими человеческими качествами и бойцовским духом.
В следующем бою Монсон одержал победу над известным бойцом отечественного MMA - Алексеем Олейником, а после выиграл бой у Дениса Комкина, проведя свой фирменный удушающий прием North-South Choke. Помимо самого боя, Джефф Монсон совершил один из самых громких запоминающихся выходов на бой если не десятилетия, то этого года точно. Американский боец прошел к рингу под гимн СССР и весь зал стоя приветствовал его.
Всего в своей профессиональной карьере Монсон одержал 46 убедительных побед и потерпел всего 13 поражений. На счету Александра Емельяненко - 20 побед и 5 поражений.
Вторым проектом сети ресторанов американской кухни ГРИЗЛИ в Санкт-Петербурге, станет Гризли Бар в ТРК Сити Молл (метро Пионерская). Открытие планируется на февраль 2013 года.

Jeff lost that fight by the decision of the judges, but even then he was remembered by Russian fans of mixed martial arts with his human qualities and fighting spirit.
In the next battle, Monson defeated the famous fighter of the domestic MMA - Alexei Oleinik, and then won the fight against Denis Komkin, having held his signature North-South Choke strangulation. In addition to the battle itself, Jeff Monson made one of the most memorable exits to the battle, if not decades, then this year for sure. The American soldier went to the ring under the anthem of the USSR and the whole hall stood welcoming him.
In total, in his professional career, Monson won 46 convincing victories and suffered only 13 defeats. On the account of Alexander Emelianenko - 20 victories and 5 defeats.
The second project of the restaurant chain of American cuisine GRIZZLY in St. Petersburg will be the Grizzly Bar in the City Mall Mall (Pionerskaya metro station). The opening is scheduled for February 2013.
