How did you get to be where you are at the moment?
I always stick around people I like and "give it a go" when facing a new choice or opportunity. That's why I've done a lot of different things professionally over the years, allowing my career to deviate from conventional path towards what I felt was right for myself. That's why I'm a part of LibiPro Studio now - I love creating new products and I simply feel good here.
What are your tips on balancing work and personal life?
I wish I knew "how to"! My life tends to go from free and happy to stressed and overworked really fast and it might be pretty difficult to stay in between the two for me. In the moments when work prevails my life my approach is to allow myself small things to switch my attention and indulge - be it a nice hot cup of coffee with my favorite cupcake, a 5 minute dance with myself listening to the song I love or a call to my mum back home, I find it all helps me to get through when work pressure gets high.
How do you manage people in your team? Especially those that are older than you...
At work I don't believe in hierarchy, rather in collaboration and group effort, when everyone can speak freely and support each other in reaching mutual goals. I found that if you inspire and free people instead of micro managing them it always brings better results, because being self-guided gives people much more joy. And happy people will always generate better ideas and solutions.
How do you like to dress to work and meetings with clients?
Although not a designer myself, I'm a highly imaginative and visual person, so I consider myself to be a free-spirit and a creative and dress accordingly. I've pretty much abandoned formal office attire and switched to casual with a twist look that is so much more comfortable and edgy. Whatever I wear - I try to balance boy Vs girl in my looks: if I'm wearing a flowing girly dress, I'm sure you'll see we in sneakers, but if it's ripped off jeans with an oversized white tee - expect some sequinned pumps. I try to have fun with everything I do and dressing up is no exception!
