Скалолазная Грузия!
Выдалось 5 дней между экспедициями в Эквадор и Танзанию и мы решили их провести в Грузии на скалах.
У нас новый проект - потихоньку создаём гайдбук по всему Кавказу, включая Грузию, поэтому решили объехать максимально возможное количество секторов, несмотря на дождливую погоду вначале нашего путешествия.
Фотки секторов нужно склеивать, а хорошие фотки с лазания обрабатывать (и на все это нужно время), поэтому кидаю фотки с моей страницы в Инстаграмме.
Тем не менее даже по ним видно, что в Грузии есть что полазать!
Откуда брали сами инфу - есть ресурс https://climbinggeorgia.wordpress.com на нем ребята сделали гайдбук по всем районам (нужно в поиски на этом сайте набирать районы: Arsha, Botanical garden, Birtvisi, Kutaisi, Chiatura, Katshi, Sveri), также есть та же информация в приложение Allclimb. Но информация не полная.
В Ботаническом саду, Биртвиси и Кутаиси категории местами очень жёсткие, думаю, нужно прибавлять смело категорию, а то и полторы.
Также грузины часто ездят на скалы, с ними можно связаться и напроситься поехать. За их контактами обращайтесь ко мне в личку.
По районам - Арша на 30 трасс простых категорий, до 6с, около Казбека, сектор летний, с мая по октябрь нормально лазать.
Ботанический сад - круглогодичный сектор, реально 14 трасс под нижнею, остальное - варианты с верхней, до 7б примерно, прям в Тбилиси находится, идти к скалам от главного входа нужно (как на сайте описано уже не пройти).
Биртвиси - летний сектор, много зелени и прохладно, но всего 8 трасс от 5ки до 8а и много почищенных камней, в 40км от Тбилиси на юг и получасе ходьбы по самому заповеднику.
Кутаиси - скалы в городе, во дворе жилого дома, на набережной, под храмом Баграти, трасс немного, сейчас 10, простых и средних категорий (до 7а+ где-то), обещают добавить ещё, сектор круглогодичный.
Катсхи - больше летний сектор, в 40км от Зестафони в сторону Южной Осетии, много трасс, 5 подсекторов для лазания, трассы от 5ки до 7с примерно.
Чиатура - город дальше Катсхи на 10км, зимне-весенне-осенний сектор, скалы прямо в городе, город достаточно большой и интересный, много трасс, от 5ки до 8а.
Цвери - круглогодичный сектор, в получасе езды от Чиатуры, много трасс, до туда не доехали в этот раз, хотя нам очень рекомендовали.
Везде очень желательно иметь каски (иногда трассы сыпятся, такая порода), 15 оттяжек и 60м верёвку.
Чтобы доехать до Биртвиси можно взять такси из Тбилиси (это не дорого), до Цвери и Катсхи такси от Чиатуры. До Кутаиси, Арши, Чиатуры легко доехать на маршрутке (с вокзала Дидубе отправляются достаточно часто).

Огромное спасибо подготовщикам скал в Грузии и тем, кто им помогает, особенно Гуге и Ираклию, трассы хорошие, пробивка безопасная и достаточно частая.

Rock climbing Georgia!

In the Botanical Garden, Birtvisi and Kutaisi, the categories are very tough in some places, I think you need to add a bold category, or even a half.

Kutaisi - rocks in the city, in the courtyard of an apartment building, on the promenade, under the Bagrati temple, there are few routes, now there are 10 simple and medium categories (up to 7a + somewhere), they promise to add more, the year-round sector.
Katskhi is a larger summer sector, 40 km from Zestafoni towards South Ossetia, many routes, 5 subsectors for climbing, routes from 5ki to 7s approximately.
Chiatura - a city further than Katskhi by 10 km, winter-spring-autumn sector, rocks right in the city, the city is quite large and interesting, there are many routes from 5ki to 8a.
Zveri is a year-round sector, half an hour from Chiatura, many routes, we didn’t get there this time, although we were highly recommended.
