Зачем нужны деньги? Чтоб было много пива!
Похоже сегодня ждёт всех большой угар.
Ну что за народ - бухают без перерыва
Под рёв перегруженных панковских гитар.
Призраки Там-Тама, сыны путей тернистых,
Кайф, угар и драма в судьбах анархистов!
Все, кто здесь бывали, "Панки, хой!" кричали,
И сегодня много тех, кто пляшет пого!
Одет кто во что, у самых крутых - косухи,
Кто лысый, кто носит хаер, кто ирокез.
Здесь всё по натуре, всем не до показухи.
К панк-року у всех особый тут интерес.
Призраки Там-Тама, сыны путей тернистых,
Кайф, угар и драма в судьбах анархистов!
Все, кто здесь бывали, "Панки, хой!" кричали,
И сегодня много тех, кто пляшет пого!
Блуждают среди дворов призраки ночные,
Брутальные анархисты, здесь и шуты.
И если спросить "Откуда вы, парни, чьи вы?"
Послышится дружный хохот из темноты.
Песня группы «Князь» «Призраки Там-тама» посвящена петербургской неформальной тусовке начала 90-х годов. В то время в Санкт-Петербурге существовал культовый клуб tAm-tAm, основанный бывшим виолончелистом группы «Аквариум» Всеволодом Гаккелем, где собиралась и проводила время творческая молодежь.
Многие современные рок-звёзды как раз и вышли из этой тусовки. На подмостках клуба начинали свой путь к славе группы «Король и Шут», «Химера», «Кирпичи», «Пилот» и многие другие.
Объясняя название песни «Призраки Там-Тама», Андрей Князев говорил, что многие представители панк-тусовки так и остались в «лихих 90-х». Однако, их голоса из прошлого до сих пор слышны автору во время прогулок по Васильевскому острову.
