Этрета - небольшой городок на берегу Ла-Манша. Сюда стоит приехать посмотреть на известняковые скалы. Конечно «Семь сестер» на противоположном берегу выглядят монументальней, но здесь виды на холмистые берега и скала-«слон» западают надолго в паять. Всего 200 км от Парижа, можно съездить одним днем. Здесь я был в 2006. А еще здесь живое наследие высадки союзников. Все высадки были чуть южнее, но здесь осталось много дотов и укреплений.

Etretat is a small town on the English Channel. You should come here to look at the limestone cliffs. Of course, the “Seven Sisters” on the opposite bank look more monumental, but here the views of the hilly shores and the “elephant” rock fall into soldering for a long time. Only 200 km from Paris, you can go one day. Here I was in 2006. And here is a living legacy of the Allied landings. All landings were a little south, but there were many pillboxes and fortifications left.
