- Есть. Но достижения науки - это лишь форма, в которой невидимые нам явления проявляют себя. Тот прекрасный мир, каким он стал в 21-м веке - это сцена, а реальная причина событий находится за кулисами.
- И что там, за кулисами?
- Земля и рай сближаются. Рай становится ближе к нашему миру.
- При чем тут рай? Наука...
- Та прекрасная комфортная жизнь, которая протекает в раю, где передвижение на далекие расстояния совсем не проблема, где болезней вообще нет, где для связи с любым из его обитателей не нужны телефоны - она как бы просачивается в наш мир. Рай сообщает своему миру свое дыхание счастья, и это дыхание просачивается в наш мир в форме достижений науки. Реальная причина того, что тебе живется комфортнее, чем твоим родителям - рай все ближе. А достижения науки - форма, в которую облекается это дыхание рая.
- И то есть с каждым годом рай все ближе и ближе? И жизнь у нас будет все лучше и лучше? Это хорошо!
- Это не очень хорошо.
- Почему? Рай же приближается!
- Знаешь почему он приближается?

- Он переполнен.
- Что?
- Рай переполнен. Он потому и приближается, что в нем все больше и больше душ. Он раздувается от переполнения, увеличивается, распухает, и поэтому его дыхание на земле ощущается все явственнее.
- А почему это не очень хорошо?
- Потому что он переполнен. Даже ты в него уже вряд ли попадешь. Раньше, когда места в нем было много, попасть в него было легче. Теперь там осталось мало мест, и отбор туда очень тщательный. Попадут только лучшие из лучших.
- Ну и пусть! Если рай все ближе и у нас жизнь улучшается, здесь остаться тоже будет неплохо!
- Никакого "здесь" скоро больше не будет.

Ад и рай приближаются одновременно с двух противоположных сторон. Они увеличиваются за счет притока обитателей с нашей планеты, и по мере увеличения просто раздавят Землю между своими оболочками. Наша планета - это полигон, откуда всех отсеивают по своим заслугам. Неопределившиеся, нерешительные и мечущиеся так никуда и не попадают, и прекращают существование вместе с полигоном. Обрати внимание, у современных обитателей нет четких целей в жизни, сплошная прокастинация. Потому что почти все, кто был заряжен идеями и какими-либо стремлениями, темными или светлыми, уже нашли свое место.
