В основе новой работы молодого московского хореографа Соны Овсепян лежит сюжет популярного произведения Шодерло де Лакло «Опасные связи». Начиная с XVIII века, роман будоражит сердца людей. К нему не раз обращались как театральные, так и кино режиссеры. Не обошли своим вниманием это произведение и хореографы.
В спектакле театра «Новый балет» сошлись три стихии: музыка Эцио Боссо, новое современное прочтение романа Соной Овсепян и безудержный кураж и накал страстей, демонстрируемый танцовщиками театра. Драматические события развиваются на глазах у зрителей с невероятной быстротой, увлекая их в глубь романа, раскрывая в героях все грани их жизни - власть и жертвенность, коварство и бессилие, ярость и отчаяние... Главные герои, играя в опасные игры с людьми, дергая их за ниточки, как кукол-марионеток, в результате сами становятся заложниками собственных интриг, попадая в расставленные ими же сети.

The basis of the new work of the young Moscow choreographer Sona Hovsepyan is the plot of the popular work of Choderlo de Laclos, “Dangerous Communications”. Three elements came together in the performance of the New Ballet theater: music by Ezio Bosso, a new modern reading of the novel by Sona Hovsepyan, and the unrestrained courage and intensity of passions demonstrated by the dancers of the theater. Dramatic events unfold before the eyes of the audience with incredible speed, carrying them deep into the novel, revealing in the heroes all facets of their lives - power and sacrifice, insidiousness and powerlessness, rage and despair ... The main characters, playing dangerous games with people, yanking their strings, like puppet puppets, as a result, they themselves become hostages of their own intrigues, falling into the networks they have set up.
