Но юные модницы рассердили старика своим презрением ко всему русскому и обожанием всего французского. В это же время горничная барышня Даша собирается замуж, однако у нее и ее жениха Семена нет денег на свадьбу. И Семен придумывает хитрость: он переодевается и выдает себя за французского маркиза.

At the same time, maid Dasha, the young lady, is going to get married, however, she and her fiance Semyon have no money for the wedding.
