С 1 по 10 октября 2017 года на сцене Театрального центра и в «Боярских палатах СТД» будет представлено 18 театров со всего мира. В программу X SOLO вошли не просто сильнейшие актёрские работы, но постановки, демонстрирующие мультижанровость в моноформе. Поэзия и документальный театр, фантастика и «эксплуатационное» кино, новая драма и инсценировка прозы – Solo утверждает: у моноспектакля нет границ.
Юбилейный фестиваль станет театральным исследованием проблемных точек европейского и русского современного театра, явленных в моноформе. В столкновении и соприкосновении Восток-Запад вскрывается главная тема фестивальной программы – гендерная перверсия как социальная катастрофа. Будь то мать-убийца, тюремный психолог, женщина-надзиратель или трансвестит из заброшенных трущоб. Об этом «кричат» 7 спектаклей зарубежной программы – Италия, Франция, Польша, Германия, Великобритания, Греция, Грузия. Об этом размышляет театральная Россия – Санкт-Петербург, Екатеринбург, Нижний Новгород, Томск, Скопин. Столица на фестивале представлена Театром на Таганке и Театром на Малой Бронной.

Be it a killer mother, a prison psychologist, a female warden, or a transvestite from abandoned slums. About 7 performances of the foreign program “shout” about this - Italy, France, Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Georgia. Theatrical Russia reflects on this - St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Tomsk, Skopin. The capital at the festival is represented by the Taganka Theater and the Malaya Bronnaya Theater.
