"Спектакль «Улисс» в постановке Евгения Каменьковича – спектакль, рассчитанный на более зрелую, более искушенную и выдержанную аудиторию. Игра, обнажающая уголки человеческих душ, остающиеся при дневном свете затемненными. Удивительная постановка, выстроенная в соответствии со структуризацией композиции оригинального произведения Джеймса Джойса, погружает зрителя в монолитность инсценировки романа.
Состоящий из 3 актов «Улисс» воплощается посредством изменения динамических конструкций, трансформирующихся на глазах у завороженного зрителя. Перемонтаж, отличительный и особый элемент, характеризующий Театр «Мастерская П. Фоменко», составляет ткань спектакля, естественным образом вовлекая зрителя в разворачивающиеся события, втягивая его в психическую жизнь постановки, преобразуя зрителя ordinaire в соучастника смыслов каждого акта.
Впечатление, сформированное биомеханической составляющей, дополнено и усилено атрибутикой постановки: падающим прямо к ногам зрителя бейсбольным мячом, разлетающимися за пределы сцены листами книги, развевающимися одеждами женского состава. Актеры с театральных помостов вместе с узнаваемой по фильмам актрисой Полиной Кутеповой, произносят длительные монологи, создавая яркую комбинацию нового неоткрытого и уверенно знакомого. Оставляет след сила и страсть, с которой действующие лица отдаются игре.
Спектакль сообщает ряд характерных модернизму мыслей и идей, формирует представление о разделении жизни на мир реальный, внешний, объективный и мир психический, потаенный, слышный не буквально каждому. По завершении действа зарождается желание заново погрузиться в постановку, выполнившей роль в т. ч. и квинтэссенции романа «Улисса» Дж. Джойса, вернуться к прочтению и самого оригинального произведения.
Воплощая манящие ноты, с привкусом запрета и страсти жизни, «Улисс» озвученным потоком сознания берет власть над зрителем, направляет его мысленный взор на человека извне, в глубине которого затаен ответ вопрощающего внутренне."

"The play" Ulysses "directed by Yevgeny Kamenkovich is a performance designed for a more mature, more sophisticated and restrained audience. A game that exposes the corners of human souls that remain obscured by daylight. An amazing production, built in accordance with the structuring of the composition of the original work by James Joyce, immerses the viewer in the monolithic dramatization of the novel.
Consisting of 3 acts, “Ulysses” is embodied by changing dynamic designs that transform in front of a bewitched spectator. Remounting, a distinctive and special element characterizing the P. Fomenko Workshop Theater, makes up the fabric of the performance, naturally involving the viewer in the unfolding events, drawing him into the mental life of the production, transforming the viewer ordinaire into an accomplice in the meanings of each act.
The impression formed by the biomechanical component is supplemented and strengthened by the attributes of the production: a baseball falling directly at the feet of the viewer, sheets of a book flying out of the scene, flying women’s clothes. Actors from the theater platforms, along with recognizable film actress Polina Kutepova, make lengthy monologues, creating a vivid combination of a new undiscovered and confidently familiar one. Leaves a mark on the strength and passion with which the characters surrender to the game.
The performance conveys a number of thoughts and ideas that are characteristic of modernism, forms the idea of dividing life into a real, external, objective world and a psychic, hidden, audible world not for everyone. At the end of the action, a desire arises to plunge again into the production, which performed the role, including the quintessence of the novel “Ulysses” by J. Joyce, to return to reading the original work itself.
