Как линия пунктира,
И правду заменила ложь,
Мрачнее вдруг картина.
Вчера был смех и искры с глаз,
Сегодня взгляд опущен,
И что сияло как алмаз,
Теперь в болотной гуще.
Идёт по круг свет и тьма,
Плечо к плечу, сменяясь,
Даря то веру, то обман,
Как Карусель вращаясь.

Like a dotted line
And the truth has replaced the lie
A darker picture suddenly.
Yesterday there was laughter and sparks from the eyes,
Today the gaze is lowered
And that shone like a diamond
Now in the swamp thicket.
There is a circle of light and darkness,
Shoulder to shoulder, alternating
Giving either faith or deceit
Like a carousel spinning.
