Вот к примеру съёмочный день типичный:
В 8 утра приезжаю на площадку.
Ищу буфет.
Нахожу буфет.
Выясняю, что в буфете нет электричества, потому что осветители, в ведении которых находится генератор, вызваны на площадку к 9.
Выясняю, что режиссёр и оператор тоже вызваны к 9.
Высказываю второму режиссёру (человек, занимающийся планированием съёмок, в западной терминологии – 1st AD) всё, что думаю о кинопроизводстве.
Получаю извинения и объяснение, что мой вызов к 8 утра просто остался в вызывном листе с прошлой смены.
Сплю в машине час.
В 9 утра выхожу, вижу осветителей, тянущих кабель к буфету.
В 9:30 выясняю, что буфет положен только актерам на главных ролях, остальные не люди, пью запасенное с приехавшим оператором.
В 10:00 приезжает вызванный на 9:00 режиссёр.
В 10:15 выясняется, что один из трёх актёров, участвующих в сцене, не вызван, потому что... Ну так вышло.
Срочно отправляется машина за актёром.
В 11 привозят актёра.
До 12–ти его одевают, гримируют.
В 12 режиссёр начинает разводить сцену.
В 12:15 выясняется, что реквизиторы не заказали машину главного героя.
В 13 машина приезжает.
В 13:30 раздаётся команда "Приготовились к съёмке".
В 13:31 начинается дождь.
До 14:30 все ждут конца дождя. Знатоки–метеорологи смотрят на лужи и уверенно говорят, что судя по пузырям дождь сейчас кончится.
В 15:00 дождь всё ещё идёт. Привозят обед.
Обед до 16:00.
В 16:00 принимается решение снимать в дождь.
В 16:30 снят общий план сцены. Перестановка на крупные планы.
В 16:45 перестаёт идти дождь, выходит яркое солнце. Снимать крупные планы нельзя – не смонтируется.
В 17:00 принимается решение переснять общий план в солнце. Костюмеры сушат фенами костюмы.
В 17:30 снимается общий план.
В 17:45 естественно начинается дождь.
Поскольку общий план в дождь у нас есть – снимаем крупные планы в дождь.
Успеваем снять один из трёх крупных планов в дождь. Выходит солнце. Костюмеры сушат фенами костюмы.
В 18:45 снимаем все крупные планы в солнце. Переходим к вечерней сцене.
В 19:00 в генераторе кончается солярка. Так получилось. Генератор уезжает на заправку.
В 20:00 генератор возвращается. Оператор начинает ставить свет.
В 21:00 выходит исполнительный продюсер и говорит режиссёру, что заканчивает съёмку потому что после 12 часов смены нужно платить переработку.
До 21:30 режиссёр и продюсер выясняют, что дешевле – заплатить переработку или приехать ещё раз.
Принимается решение продолжать съёмку.
В 22:00 готовы снимать. Начинается дождь.
Снят общий план сцены, где одного из героев убивают выстрелом в грудь.
22:30 Переходим к крупным планам.
В 22:35 выясняется, что дубля костюма убиваемого героя, залитого кровью на общем плане, нет.
В 23:00 героя ставят в кадр так, чтобы залитой кровью части костюма не было видно. Дождь прекращается.
В 23:30 на стремянку взгромождается декоратор и из лейки пытается сымитировать дождь.
Снимается дубль. Смотрится плейбэк, понимается, что это полный отстой.
Начинается дождь.
Доснимаются крупные планы.
В полночь раздаётся долгожданное "Всем спасибо, съёмка закончена".
В час ночи дома. Следующий съёмочный день с 8 утра.
