Всех пугают терроризмом, все боятся терактов... О них много говорят, после них останавливают полеты в Египет, для борьбы с ними ставят в метро бесполезные рамки...
Да, конечно, никто не защищен от теракта, но если взглянуть на статистику:
Примерно 100-200 Россиян в год погибают от терактов.
От отравления алкоголем умирает 5000 человек в год (в 35 раз больше!)
От самоубийств - 14000 (в 90 раз больше!)
От терроризма в России погибает 15 тысячных процента от всех умирающих (0,015% от количества умерших, а не от величины населения).
От рака погибает в тысячу раз больше ежегодно! В тысячу раз!!!
Так почему люди боятся терактов больше, чем рака и алкоголя? Почему о терактах говорят больше, чем о ДТП (каждую неделю 200 человек в России гибнет в ДТП!), почему редко обсуждаются самоубийства и почему человек боится, что он станет жертвой теракта, сильнее, чем что у него обнаружится опухоль?
Статистика - любопытная вещь.. Но человеческая психология - гораздо любопытнее...
