Устанавливаю Apache, забыла настройки и читаю про них в интернете;
в это время антивирус сообщает, что просто не может жить без новых обновлений операционной системы и уговаривает меня их установить (успешно, обещая долгий процесс загрузки/установки);
Apache: не могу продолжить установку из-за другого процесса установки (Попробовать снова/Прервать);
Я: ладно, пока установлю Mercurial;

Windows Updates Installation: 1 of 3 updates installed, estimated time ... (подставьте свое любимое %)).
После успешного обновления системы пришлось прервать установку Mercurial, чтобы хоть один из них поставился без повторной настройки. Повезло: не пришлось ждать полгода и перезагружать компьютер. У-ух =)
