Вокзалы в Узбекистане ухоженные и торжественные. Вообще, здесь сносится много советских зданий и взамен строятся новые. Немного забавно наблюдать такие слова, как "vokzal" или "salfetkalar" (салфетки). На сами вокзалы без паспорта и билета зайти невозможно. На билет ставят штампик.
На вокзале в Самарканде в камере хранения меня встретил добродушный парень, который представился Димой. Уж не знаю, настоящее это было имя или нет. Он предупредил меня, что нужно обязательно прийти за час до отправления поезда, рассказал, на какой трамвай сесть, чтобы осмотреть всё, что нужно. Отвёл в свою комнату, чтобы я мог переодеться и отложить ненужные вещи. И в целом был очень рад, что я приехал посмотреть его родной город. И всё время улыбался.
Надо ли говорить, что с такой учтивостью и приветливостью в Узбекистане встречаешься на каждом шагу, и местное обращение "братишка" - это ничуть не уничижение, а признание тебя своим. Назови братом или братишкой кого-то из местных, и он улыбнётся тебе и обязательно поблагодарит, а после рукопожатия в знак уважения приложит руки к сердцу.

Stations in Uzbekistan are well-groomed and ceremonial. In general, many Soviet buildings are demolished here and new ones are being built in return. It's a little funny to watch words like "vokzal" or "salfetkalar" (napkins). It is impossible to enter the stations themselves without a passport and ticket. They put a stamp on the ticket.

He warned me that it was necessary to come an hour before the train departed, told me which tram to get on to inspect everything that was needed. I took it to my room so that I could change clothes and put aside unnecessary things. And overall, I was very glad that I came to see his hometown. And he smiled all the time.
Needless to say, you meet such courtesy and friendliness in Uzbekistan at every step, and the local appeal of "brother" is not at all humiliating, but recognition of you as your own. Call someone of the local brother or brother, and he will smile at you and will thank you, and after a handshake, as a sign of respect, he will put his hands to his heart.
