A lot about the trip! The first time I was in Austria and at the Festival too. I heard a lot about how fabulous there ... but you had to see it with your own eyes than to hear it a hundred times :) The atmosphere is really amazing and no matter how tired you are, you still can't help but smile at everyone. We immediately waved to two categories - fluoro body art and Special Features. We arrived at the dream farm on the 1st day and finished the props with an interruption for rare festivities before the 5th. A good company is at hand - the key to success and good mood, no matter how nervous and scary you may be) On the 5th of 3 hours we painted fluoro body art with Julia Vlasova. Very rarely these colors were picked up, my first experience of drawing them for the clip of the Splin group was a very long time ... But the debut was a success, together with wonderful artists we got a great show! We’ll definitely show the video. It’s nice to work with professionals - Zap and John pleased the audience and us. PRANA’s performance was also very striking :) The guys were the best, it was visible from afar! Rejoiced for the compatriots) About Flyure made conclusions for the future. Let us return to this separate world in the future, I am sure. He is very interesting .. and now the most important and difficult thing for all of us - Specifics in body painting. I must say that I made my first plaster mold and silicone casting 2 weeks before departure .. therefore, I think 8th place in terms of points for two days for the first time is not bad) We looked at seasoned colleagues from different countries who made very cool images ! There is something to learn - this is a fact. We were glad for friends - Julia Vlasova with her team took 3rd place =) They lived nearby, were imbued with each other's work and danced, rejoicing for them! In our work, we emphasized what we considered to be our strongest sides. The judges liked something, something they did not penetrate, but the six-month work was not in vain. Many masters, photographers and just spectators came up, shook hands and said that our work is the best at the festival)) It was wildly nice! We still have a mountain of business cards for photographs, which I still write) I would also like to say about my model, who made quite a few for the trip ... in general, body painting models need to be erected a monument! 7 hours to stand shivering from the cold, 12 hours there is almost nothing to eat and so for 2 days in a row, this is not for you to take a picture in the studio. Well, Pie is a model of the century, I think! Without her, I would not have succeeded. For we, as always, made constructions that killed the head, shoulders and legs ... I don’t know how much it was in kg, but I believe that it was very painful -_____- Nevertheless, Pie heroically endured everything! The first day - July 6th - we painted on the theme of Planet Food. Of course, there were a lot of cakes and sweets =) Candy floss and ice cream were everywhere) It is a pity that it rained that day and there will not be many good shots .. the moment will remain in memory when we put our diva in the center of the background and ran to the side. .photographers sighed and flashes fell down) In my opinion, she is the only one to whom they eventually applauded =) And yes - she went on this cake =) With our help, but she went) There will be a video! We went to the finals and were satisfied, but weary went to wash home. On the second day (Holy Geometry topic) the props was no easier .. The shamanistic image is severe and partly cosplay. Someday we will do the whole Shamanic Princess cosplay! Sasha glued silicone pads for about 4 hours, I drew 7 hours, there was almost no strength left after two days of competition .. but this time the judges appreciated the drawing and special effects more! This day we were 5th. I did not have time to draw everything I wanted, but everyone at the festival did not have time to draw it. 7h - not as much as it seems. Sasha is a super-assistant who suffered both my psychos and many hours of painstaking work. And in general, of course, a special thanks to him for everything on this trip and not only. Without such support for my impulses to travel to Austria, I would hardly have gone there. The weather on the 7th did not disappoint and there should be a lot of photos! The performance was also impressive. It was a lot of surprise, including Italians, who brought a whole dinosaur in a truck =) This is definitely not to be seen on a Russian scale. I would like to say THANKS to everyone who helped us in creating these images all this time, supported and worried about us .. there are a lot of you, and without you there would be no such result! A well-coordinated team is a necessary component of success. For us it’s a great experience in everything, for me personally, it’s a challenge for the future) We will definitely go again and again;) Without a heavy props .. with a load of knowledge and experience =) Soon the album will be replenished - it’s so nice now to watch the appearance of all new frames online! It was an unforgettable week, friends! But she really missed her son. I can’t kiss him now) On the day of our arrival he was 11 months old.
