Голова Родины-матери на даче Вучетича
В дачном поселке Тимирязевской сельхозакадемии есть бывшая дача советского скульптора Вучетича, и из-за забора торчат две громадные железобетонные головы. Женская голова — это полноразмерная модель головы волгоградской Родины-матери с Мамаева кургана, а мужская — неоконченный проект памятника Ленину. Выглядит диковато, посмотреть на это стоит всякому. Головы постепенно разрушаются, но их по-прежнему можно считать одной из самых странных достопримечательностей города.

In the summer residence of the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy there is a former summer residence of the Soviet sculptor Vuchetich, and two enormous reinforced concrete heads stick out from behind the fence. The female head is a full-size model of the head of the Volgograd Motherland from the Mamaev Kurgan, and the male head is an unfinished project of a monument to Lenin. It looks wild, everyone should look at it. The heads are gradually being destroyed, but they can still be considered one of the strangest sights of the city.
