Для купания лучше выбирать мелкие местечки, вроде Губернаторского пляжа (Governor’s Beach) на юге, с очень живописными белыми скалами, или Коралловой бухты (Coral Bay) на западе – это вообще один из самых популярных пляжей на всём Кипре и подходящий спот для снорклинга.
Разнообразить отдых можно экскурсиями. Например, к древним мозаикам и храмам в Пафосе, или в обитель Киккос, где хранится самая почитаемая святыня острова – икона Божьей Матери, написанная, по преданию, апостолом Лукой. Учтите, что стоит монастырь в горах на высоте 1140 м: если планируете паломничество вместе с детьми, выбирайте не самый жаркий и душный день.
Легче дышится у красивого водопада Милломерис – тут 15-метровая водяная колонна падает со скал и разбивается в пыль и брызги. Кадр отсюда – абсолютный must have, тем более что к лету водопад пересыхает. Ну, а если захочется романтики, вам на Мост Любви – изящную нерукотворную арку, которую изваяло море на юго-востоке Кипра.

Keep in mind that there is a monastery in the mountains at an altitude of 1140 m: if you are planning a pilgrimage with your children, choose not the hottest and sultry day.
It’s easier to breathe at the beautiful Millomeris waterfall - here a 15-meter water column falls from the rocks and breaks into dust and splashes. A shot from here is an absolute must have, especially since the waterfall dries out by summer. Well, if you want romance, you on the Bridge of Love - an elegant miraculous arch that the sea sculpted in the southeast of Cyprus.
