Бывшая резиденция маркграфов и великих герцогов Бадена, построенная в 1715 году маркграфом Карлом III Вильгельмом и прослужившая в этом качестве до 1918 года. В настоящее время во дворце находится Музей земли Баден и часть Конституционного суда Германии, основное здание которого расположено в непосредственной близости от дворца. В 1944 году полностью сгорел в результате бомбардировки союзниками в ходе Второй Мировой войны, в 50-60хх годах был восстановлен.
В планировке города дворец служит центральной точкой, от которой лучеобразно во все стороны проложены улицы.

The former residence of the margraves and Grand Dukes of Baden, built in 1715 by Margrave Charles III Wilhelm and served in this capacity until 1918. Currently, the Palace houses the Baden state Museum and part of the German constitutional court, the main building of which is located in the immediate vicinity of the Palace. In 1944, completely burned down as a result of bombing by the allies during the Second World war, in the 50-60s was restored.
In the city planning the Palace serves as the Central point from which streets are radiantly laid in all directions.
