Тбилиси. Все ещё день второй)
От театра Габриадзе нужно двигаться вглубь улицы Шавтели навстречу историческим открытиям, культурным объектам, ресторанам с уютными террасами (на которых в плюс 4 в ливень кроме нас и уличных собачек никто практически и не сидел). Брести, просто наслаждаясь волшебной атмосферой Тбилиси.
Почти сразу у театра стоит церковь Анчисхати. Фасад украшает икона, с которой связана целая религиозная история: царь Эдессы послал художника в Иерусалим запечатлеть Иисуса Христа, но тот так и не смог добиться сходства. Тогда Иисус умылся, вытер лицо полотном, на которое перешёл его лик. Это полотно обладало целительными свойствами и отпечатывалось на любой поверхности. Базилика очень древняя. И есть в ней какое-то умиротворение. Главное, что все священники светлые и очень простые, которые не навязывают веры, а просто настроены сделать добро. Меня сразу помазали чем-то со словами: «давайте и Вас». Так что какое-то количество неудов бог мне простил, думаю)
Чуть дальше резиденция Патриарха Ильи, который может поделиться лайфхаками с нашим правительством в сфере повышения рождаемости. Патриарх обещал стать крёстным у третьего и последующих детей в семьях. На текущий момент у него уже несколько тысяч крестников.
В резиденции воистину божественно поют птицы. На этой же улице - собор Сиони, где хранятся крест Нино и череп апостола Фомы. Было очень много народа и убранство храма я не прочувствовала.. В любой части улицы можно уйти налево и выйти к мосту Мира (о нем позже). Если никуда не сворачивать, вы попадёте на площадь Мейдан, в район серных бань с водопадом в инжирном ущелье и к Храму Метехи на горе. Если с улицы Шавтели повернуть направо по улице Коте Абхази (мы называли ее КАТЭ МРТ), вернётесь на площадь Свободы, оставив энную сумму денег в многочисленных магазинах по пути)) #грузияявернусь
