Намибия - это рай для любителей гепардов, их тут реально много, поэтому в стране очень популярны центры по реабилитации этих животных.
Так как мы не попали в парк Оконджима, мы решили посетить центр реабилитации гепардов (Cheatah conservation fund). Здесь же, мы заказали сафари на гепардов и ожидали длительную прогулку в охоте за дикими гепардами, но на деле всё оказалось иначе. Нас повезли в вольер к 3 гепардам, которые считаются самыми спокойными в центре и находятся на содержание аж с 6 месяцев, в связи с чем никогда не вернуться в дикую природу. Since we didn’t get into Okonjim park, we decided to visit the Cheatah conservation fund. Here, we ordered a cheetah safari and expected a long walk in the hunt for wild cheetahs, but in reality everything turned out differently. We were taken to an aviary for 3 cheetahs, who are considered the calmest in the center and have been kept for as long as 6 months, and therefore never return to the wild.
