Смотрели фильм освободите Вилле? Ну так вот, мне больше всего нравится вторая часть, где главный герой наблюдает за китами в их среде обитания.
Перед поездкой в США, мне стало интересно где именно снимался этот фильм и конкретно эта часть, и оказалось, что съемки проходили не далеко от тех мест куда мы собирались.
И мы решили отправиться на остров Сан Хуан в штате Вашингтон, чтобы посмотреть на китов и увидеть места где снимался фильм про косатку Вилли.
Остров Сан Хуан находиться менее чем в 100 км от Канады и это настоящий рай для любителей китов.
В городке Фрайдей Харбор десятки разных компаний занимающихся исследованием китов и организующий туры для наблюдения за ними. Я выбрала компанию “Maya’s Legency” и позже расскажу о ней подробнее.
А пока хотелось бы поднять такую тему, как вылов китов, которая очень остро стоит в последнее время в нашей стране. Слышали о китовой тюрьме в Приморье? Не понимаю почему в нашей стране до сих пор не могут понять и принять хрупкость дикого мира и важность его охраны.
В США например, сейчас вылов китов и продажа их в океанариумы запрещены. После массовых выловов в 60-70 г.г. одна из популяций косаток так и не восстановилась до сих пор. А ведь столько времени уже прошло. У нас же только вошли во вкус. Один Москвариум чего стоит. А продажа китов в Китай, это вообще преступление!
Сейчас почти по всему миру развит так называемый #Whale_waching - это возможность увидеть китов в дикой природе и стоит это не таких космических денег. В России кстати тоже стал появляться, в особенности на дальнем Востоке, а из ближайших доступных точек, это наблюдение за Белухами на Соловецких островах.
Поэтому если любите животных наблюдайте за ними без вреда для них, а то такими темпами, вашим детям и внукам не кем будет восхищаться.
