Второй год подряд мы (вместо покупки новогодней ёлки на ёлочном базаре) идём в лес и находим поваленную ветром ель (на мой взгляд, шанс на такую находку увеличивается вблизи просек и опушек). Отрубаем у ёлки макушку нужной длины и тащим домой. Таким образом, и не способствуем гибели нового дерева, и получаем красивую ароматную новогоднюю ёлку. "Лапы" от той же ёлки идут на декор или укрывание от морозов садовых посадок.

We chop off the crown of the desired length from the tree and drag it home. Thus, we do not contribute to the death of a new tree, and we get a beautiful fragrant Christmas tree. "Paws" from the same Christmas tree go to the decor or shelter from the frost of garden plantings.
