Про моду. Диалог с соседями №1.
Для меня это лето началось с покупки белоснежных кед, согласитесь, в этом году без них было ну совсем никак! Ох уж это желание – быть в тренде, но не как все) Скажу честно, пришлось тяжко. Выбор дался мучительно и пал на Lacoste с игриво задранным носом, золотым задником и тончайшей золотой полоской, оттеняющей знаменитого «Крокодила» (выпендрилась – не Adidasже). И вот я сделала заветную покупку, приехала домой, открыла коробочку с Lacoste и, надев свою добычу, отправилась на прогулку. Я довольная с улыбкой до ушей выхожу из дома и встречаю соседей. Диалог примерно следующий:
- Что такая довольная?
- Да, вот кеды купила, долго искала.
- А что такие белые?
- Ну, это же модно…
- Какая разница – модно или нет. Главное – это совершенно не практично.
Тут я, конечно, вспомнила фразу из любимого «Дьявол носит Prada» и выдавила из себя: «Мода с утилитарностью не связана. Мода – это про наш внутренний мир, способ самовыражения, красоту души», чем вызвала волну негодования. Ну, разумеется…
А что думаете вы – можно ли пренебречь практичностью в пользу красоты? И если дизайнеры предлагают нам отказаться в новом сезоне от практичности, стоит ли идти у них на поводу?

For me, this summer began with the purchase of snow-white sneakers, you see, this year, well, without them it was absolutely nothing! Oh, this desire is to be in a trend, but not like everyone else) Frankly, it was hard. The choice was painful and fell on the Lacoste with a playfully lifted nose, a gold back and a very thin golden stripe that sets off the famous Crocodile (it showed off - not Adidaszhe). And so I made a treasured purchase, arrived home, opened a box with Lacoste and, putting on my booty, went for a walk. I am pleased with a smile from ear to ear I leave the house and meet the neighbors. The dialogue is approximately the following:
- What is so happy?
- Yes, I bought shoes, I searched for a long time.
- And what are so white?
- Well, it's fashionable ...
- What is the difference - fashionable or not. The main thing is that it is completely not practical.
Then, of course, I remembered a phrase from my beloved “The Devil Wears Prada” and squeezed out of myself: “Fashion is not connected with utilitarianism. Fashion is about our inner world, a way of self-expression, the beauty of the soul ”, which caused a wave of indignation. Well of course ...
And what do you think - is it possible to neglect practicality in favor of beauty? And if designers offer us to abandon practicality in the new season, is it worth it to follow their lead?
