Что может быть унылее, чем квартира среднестатистического школьного учителя 2 сентября? Все имеющиеся в распоряжении трехлитровые банки и ведра заняты смятыми и пожухлыми букетами, иногда — прямо в целлофановой упаковке, которую нет времени и сил снимать. Миллиарды (!) рублей из карманов родителей по всей России уходят на оплату довольно нелепой традиции: ребенок тащится в школу с перевернутой связкой гладиолусов, торопливо сует ее в руки Мариванне, которая, разумеется, по итогу никогда не вспомнит, какие именно цветы кто из учеников ей вручил.
Да, для многих родителей очень важно перещеголять всех, разорившись на дорогущий дизайнерский букет за несколько тысяч, но такое рвение часто оборачивается неловкостью — в первую очередь, для менее состоятельных мам и пап, да и для одноклассников иногда тоже.
Это я к чему. Вот уже пятый год фонд помощи хосписам «Вера» проводит красивую и очень нужную акцию «Дети вместо цветов». Идея в следующем: вместо того, чтобы задаривать учителей десятками букетов, можно договориться со всеми родителями в классе и подарить один — пускай очень красивый и дорогой букет. А сэкономленные деньги — несколько тысяч рублей — перечислить на помощь детям с тяжелыми заболеваниями, которых нельзя вылечить, но которым можно помочь жить отведенное им недугом время без боли и дискомфорта.
Что же это, идти 1 сентября в школу с пустыми руками? Не обязательно, если ваш родительский комитет примет решение участвовать в акции, вы можете взять нужное количество флажков с символом акции в московском офисе «Веры» или самостоятельно заказать в типографии воздушные шарики, на которые можно нанести фразу «Дети вместо цветов».
В 2016 году в акции участвовали ученики более 1800 классов из 600 школ по всей России. Было собрано 18 миллионов рублей — это фантастическая сумма, на которую фонд «Вера» закупил жизненно важные аппараты (например, аппарат искусственной вентиляции лёгких), инвалидные коляски, специальное питание, подгузники, пелёнки, памперсы и лекарства для 394 больных детей из разных городов.
Только представьте, если такая идея будет поддержана хотя бы половиной российских школьников и их родителей, которые привыкли тратиться на цветы к Дню знаний, то дети из хосписов получат более миллиарда рублей. Так что важно не просто решить лично принять участие в акции «Дети вместо цветов», но и рассказать о ней своим знакомым — уже сейчас, пока букеты еще не куплены, и можно все это обсудить.
Как по мне, особенно здорово, что «Дети вместо цветов» помогают не только больным ребятам, но и здоровым — тем, кто принимает участие в акции и с ее помощью вникает в суть благотворительности, имеет возможность обсудить эту тему с одноклассниками и узнать результат своего действия (поверьте, это не то же самое, что дать монетку бабушке у метро). Потом из таких традиций вырастают другие традиции — отказываться от корпоративных новогодних пьянок, например, а деньги отдавать в нищие психоневрологические интернаты или герантологические центры, а это тоже круто.

The idea is this: instead of bombarding teachers with dozens of bouquets, you can negotiate with all the parents in the class and give one — let them have a very beautiful and expensive bouquet. And the money saved - several thousand rubles - should be transferred to help children with serious illnesses who cannot be cured, but who can be helped to live the time allotted to them by an illness without pain and discomfort.
What is it, go September 1 to school empty-handed? It is not necessary if your parent committee decides to participate in the action, you can take the required number of flags with the symbol of the action in the Moscow office of Vera or order balloons at the printing house, on which you can put the phrase “Children instead of flowers”.
