После заявлений РПЦ и мэрии представители команды «Свечение» решили отказаться от проведения акции «Око Саурона». В рамках этого проекта планировалось на одной из башен «Москва-Сити» разместить пневмосферу с видеопроекцией «Ока» с 18.00 11 декабря по 03.00 12 декабря.
«Дорогие друзья! К сожалению, мы вынуждены остановить проект «Око Саурона». Мы не ожидали, что фанатская акция, привлекшая широкое внимание СМИ и миллионов поклонников творчества Джона Р.Р. Толкина, вызовет подобную реакцию со стороны общественности. Проект не имеет религиозного и политического подтекста. И не желая негатива в какой либо форме, прекращаем подготовку проекта. Мы совершенно не желали задеть чьих-либо чувств, сотворив данную световую скульптуру, и хотим принести искренние извинения за сложившуюся ситуацию», — сообщили представители творческой группы «Свечение».

1) Почитав комменты под новостью, восхитился желанием отдельных личностей закидывать инсталляцию гнилыми помидорами. С моей точки зрения достаточно трудно кидать что либо на высоту 85 или 135 м.
2) Комментаторы из другого стана при этом задумывались о страхе наших властьпридержащих перед судьбой:

"А вы обратили внимание, что они боятся ВСЕГО, что связано с чем-то мистическим.
С ЧЕМ УГОДНО!

Их есть у меня:
1. Пусси райот. Спели, обращаясь к одному из архетипических символов РПЦ - тут же паника, попытки делать оргвыводы на ПУСТОМ МЕСТЕ. А почему? Потому что боятся, как бы Богородица ДЕЙСТВИТЕЛЬНО не сделала того, о чём её просили!
2.Смерть сына Сергея Иванова. И шухер вокруг слов о том, что судьба свой объект нашла - покарала убийцу.

Ну как же! Обращение к символу куда более великому, чем символы РПЦ - к Року, Судьбе. Будем считать к Силе Роты - К Вселенскому Закону справедливости и воздаяния. Тут же - попытка административного наезда на сотрудника Эха - и всё по той же причине - БОЯТСЯ МИСТИКИ!
Так и с "оком Саурона" - над (хихи!) Мордором. А ЧЕМ ещё является сейчас Москва? Поссорилась со всем миром, На пустом месте. Сама себе устроила кризис. На пустом месте. А теперь ещё "ока Саурона" бояться? Чего добились - то и получили. Чего уж теперь на зеркало пенять?
Но ОПЯТЬ - мистики испугались. Это сколько же на самом деле нужно было наворотить, чтобы так СУДЬБЫ БОЯТЬСЯ!"
Итого: хотелось бы поздравить нас с тем, что РПЦ бережёт наш моральный облик, не давая
А) появиться Мистическим огненным знакам над Москвой;
Б) творческим людям заигрываться, ведь сказано "не положено", значит не положено и БАСТА! ( как говорится "свобода творчества? - нее не слышал")
В) защищая жителей и архитекторов IQ квартала "Москва-сити" от прочных ассоциаций с Первым в мире литературно-кино злодеем телескопом.
Со своей стороны хотел бы выразить сожаление по поводу следующего:
1) Жаль, что акция не состоялась и, таким образом, мы в очередной раз не получили правоприменительной практики к закону 136 о защите чувств верующих.
2) Жаль, что теперь ни простые москвичи ни толкиенисты даже примерно не узнают, где та Одинокая гора на территории РФ, куда следует бросить "Кольцо всевластия" ,чтобы избавиться от власти орков.
