Сегодня день рождения у необычного музыканта. 74 года исполняется Девиду Гилмору. Большинству людей он известен как гитара и голос группы "Pink Floyd".
Про этот коллектив я слышал даже в детстве, но с творчеством знаком особенно не был. Слушал кое что урывками и не внимательно. Видимо, моему окружению эта музыка не была близка. И вот однажды, в начале 2000-х (я к тому времени был на старших курсах университета) ко мне в руки попал двойной концертный DVD "Pulse". Помню, в тот день я пришёл домой довольно поздно и решил перед сном минут 15 пробежаться быстренько по содержимому диска. Открывала тот концерт композиция Shine On You Crazy Diamond и... я отлип от экрана только тогда, когда закончился первый диск. Это было начало большой любви.
Позже, правда благодаря другому участнику легендарного коллектива, Роджеру Уотерсу, мне даже удалось прикоснутся к живой магии "Pink Floyd". Это был концерт на Дворцовой площади в 2008 году (фото к посту сделано там) и это было невероятно. Но со временем я понял, что это волшебство спрятано не только в музыке.
Однажды я смотрел фоном какой-то сборный концерт, посвящённый юбилею гитар "fender". Там было много техничных талантливых музыкантов, а Девид оказался хедлайнером всего этого действа. Он вышел на сцену один, уже совсем не молодой и ссутуленный. Немного настроился и начал играть всё ту же Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
Это исполнение не было техничнее или мелодичнее, чем у остальных участников, но возникло ощущение, что до этого два часа был просто "разогрев", а настоящий концерт начался только что. Слушать его игру фоном было совершенно невозможно. Она поглощала всё моё внимание. Казалось, что он не просто прикасался к струнам своей гитары, а играл на струнах моей души. Именно в этот момент я физически ощутил, что помимо музыки в его игре есть ещё нечто, что невозможно рационализировать или описать словами. Я увидел, как через человека божественное начало попадает в этот мир.
В последствии я встретил много других "проводников". Оказалось, что их не мало и они встречаются не только в музыкальной среде. Более того, сейчас я сам являюсь одним из них. Но именно благодаря Девиду и его гитаре я впервые узнал, что такое возможно. Вряд ли он когда-нибудь прочтёт эти строки, но я от всего сердца благодарю за это, не с чем не сравнимое по силе, знакомство с глубиной мира.

I heard about this collective even in childhood, but I was not particularly familiar with creativity. I listened to something in fits and starts and not carefully. Apparently, this music was not close to my surroundings. And then one day, in the early 2000s (I was in high school at that time) a double concert DVD "Pulse" fell into my hands. I remember that day I came home quite late and decided before bedtime for about 15 minutes to quickly go over the contents of the disk. Shine On You Crazy Diamond opened that concert and ... I only got stuck on the screen when the first disc ended. It was the beginning of a lot of love.
Later, though thanks to another member of the legendary band, Roger Waters, I even managed to touch the live magic of "Pink Floyd". It was a concert on Palace Square in 2008 (a photo for the post was made there) and it was incredible. But over time, I realized that this magic is hidden not only in music.
Once I watched in the background some sort of concert dedicated to the anniversary of the fender guitars. There were many technical talented musicians, and David turned out to be the headliner of all this action. He went on stage alone, not at all young and hunched over. I tuned in a bit and started playing the same Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
This performance was not more technical or melodious than that of the other participants, but there was a feeling that before that two hours was just “warming up”, and the real concert has just begun. Listening to his game in the background was completely impossible. She absorbed all my attention. It seemed that he was not just touching the strings of his guitar, but playing the strings of my soul. It was at that moment that I physically felt that in addition to the music in his game, there is something else that cannot be rationalized or described in words. I saw how through man the divine principle enters this world.
Later I met many other "guides". It turned out that they are not enough and they are found not only in the musical environment. Moreover, now I myself am one of them.
