Слушал я тут нового Афекса, сейферил по вате и случайно набрел на двухтрековую EP Keongaku 1994 года от Global Communication. Пластинка с двумя композициями входила в расширенном переизданим альбома 76:14, все на том же [Dedicated]. Две прелести, которые я не слышал. Виниловый треск от рипа, те же эмбиентные волны, и отчетливый след и вкус 1994 года. Для олдскульщиков самое оно.
А потом стал копать про Джона Бетлрана, и наткнулся его сайд-проект Indio с единственным альбомом "Indio". Приведу цитату слушателя с Discogs: "Excellent ambient techno from John Beltran", и это мнение я полностью разделяю, учитывая все заслуги Джона в музыке. Осторожное и меланхоличное downtempo в треке Thousand Storms, и покачивающаяся, словно падающая снежинка, музыка в сугробах.
А что касается нового Афекса, то слушая его я ничего не жду. Никаких откровений.
А ведь так хотелось революции.
