20.08.2016. Что сказать, должность незавидная. В образовании что ни делай, полстраны тебя осуждает. Поэтому министрами образования долго не работают. Что серьезного можно успеть за 4–5 лет, какое крупное дело сделать? В образовании проблем много, а быстрых и простых решений нет.
28.08.2016. Разве чувство патриотизма можно воспитать? Помню, как в начале 90-х в магазинах пропали товары. Сахар, крупу, даже мыло продавали по карточкам, за ними были огромные очереди. Скудного количества на месяц не хватало. Никакие уроки обществознания не могли убедить нас, тогдашних школьников, что мы живем в могучем счастливом государстве. Да учителя и сами в это не верили, несмотря на то, что коммунистическая партия 70 лет воспитывала в гражданах патриотизм. Когда призывают в армию, где старослужащие бьют новобранцев, когда отправляют на войну, в справедливость которой никто не верит, школьная политинформация и еженедельная воскресная телепередача «Служу Советскому Союзу» не воспитают патриотов. А когда в почете наука, развиваются технологи и медицина, строят хорошие дороги и есть высокооплачиваемая работа по душе, граждане гордятся своей страной без дополнительных административных усилий. Мораль, нравственность и любовь к родине надо воспитывать ежедневной жизнью страны, а не дополнительными занятиями в школе.
03.10.2016. С возвращением вступительных экзаменов вернутся и проблемы, которые они порождают. Выпускникам придется ездить в университеты, чтобы сдавать там экзамены — для учащихся из небольших городов и деревень это закроет двери вузов. Вузы составят экзамены так, чтобы было необходимо покупать именно их пособия для подготовки, ходить к ним на подготовительные курсы, заниматься у репетиторов из их экзаменационной комиссии, которые потом будут принимать экзамены. Самое главное: за итоги ЕГЭ школы худо-бедно отвечают, а за результаты вступительных экзаменов школа не отвечала никогда. Подготовка к поступлению полностью перейдет на плечи учащихся и их родителей.
15.01.2017. Какая астрономия с сентября? Чтобы начать преподавать в школах серьезный 35-часовой курс астрономии, надо для учителей провести 50-часовой курс повышения квалификации. Рассказать теорию, методику преподавания, научить решать задачи. Научить учителей находить на небе созвездия, в конце концов. На астрономов учат в четырех вузах России, они ежегодно выпускают по 15–20 студентов. Чему научит учитель, который сам предмет не знает? Прочтет вслух учебник? Учебников в школах нет, наглядных пособий нет. Телескоп нужно купить хотя бы один — суть астрономии это наблюдения. Часы на астрономию заберут из курса физики. А с ним как? Изучать ту же программу за меньшее время? И уж зачем каждому школьнику столько часов астрономии, одному богу известно.
23.05.2017. Неужели кому-то кажется, что если по какому-то предмету ЕГЭ сделать обязательным, то этот предмет по всей стране начнут качественно, грамотно преподавать и серьезно, с полной отдачей изучать? Если ЕГЭ по истории станет обязательным, его сведут к десятку очевидных вопросов. Аттестат надо всем выдать. На примере обязательного экзамена по базовой математике это хорошо видно. Не так давно хотели ЕГЭ по иностранному языку с 2018 года обязательным сделать. Хорошо, что не сделают. Тоже был бы не экзамен, а профанация.
12.06.2017. Можно 15 миллионов школьников, студентов и профессоров одеть в одинаковую униформу. Но в жизни люди не ходят одинаково одетыми. Это же касается учебников. В них должны рассматриваться одни и те же факты, но их подача, анализ, интерпретация должны быть разными. Как книги, фильмы, телепередачи, люди. Цель школы — научить делать собственные выводы, уметь отстаивать их, но при этом жить в мире с тем, кто не такой как ты и кто с тобою не согласен. В науке, учении, в самой жизни могут быть и есть разные точки зрения на одно и то же. Чем честнее и объективнее будут рассказывать об этом учителя, чем раньше узнают об этом школьники, тем лучше.

08/20/2016. What can I say, the post is unenviable. In education, no matter what you do, half the country condemns you. Therefore, education ministers do not work for a long time. What serious things can be done in 4-5 years, what a big deal to do? There are many problems in education, but there are no quick and easy solutions.
08/28/2016. Can a sense of patriotism be raised? I remember how goods disappeared in stores in the early 90s. Sugar, cereals, even soap were sold on cards, and there were huge queues behind them. A scarce amount for a month was not enough. No social science lessons could convince us, then schoolchildren, that we live in a mighty happy state. Yes, the teachers themselves did not believe in this, despite the fact that the Communist Party had been raising patriotism in citizens for 70 years. When they are drafted into the army, where old-timers beat recruits, when they are sent to a war that no one believes in justice, school political information and the weekly Sunday TV show "Serving the Soviet Union" do not educate patriots. And when science is held in high esteem, technologists and medicine develop, they build good roads and have a well-paid job to their liking, citizens are proud of their country without additional administrative efforts. Morality, morality and love for the motherland should be brought up with the daily life of the country, and not with additional classes at school.

Graduates will have to go to universities to take exams there - for students from small towns and villages this will close the doors of universities. Universities will make exams so that it was necessary to buy their training aids, go to them for preparatory courses, study with tutors from their examination committee, who will then take exams. The most important thing: at least the schools are responsible for the results of the exam, and the school has never been responsible for the results of entrance exams. Preparation for admission will be fully transferred to the shoulders of students and their parents.

Tell the theory, teaching methods, teach to solve problems. Teach teachers to find constellations in the sky, after all. Astronomers are taught in four Russian universities; they graduate 15–20 students each year. What will a teacher teach who does not know the subject? Read the textbook aloud? There are no textbooks in schools, no visual aids. You need to buy at least one telescope - the essence of astronomy is observation. The clock on astronomy will be taken from a physics course. What about him? Learn the same program in less time? And why does every schoolchild have so many hours of astronomy, God alone knows.

Does it really seem to someone that if an exam is made compulsory in some subject, then this subject will begin to be taught qualitatively, competently and seriously, with full dedication to study this subject throughout the country? If the exam in history becomes mandatory, it will be reduced to a dozen obvious questions. A certificate must be issued to everyone. On the example of the mandatory exam in basic mathematics, this is clearly visible. Not so long ago, they wanted the USE in a foreign language from 2018 to be mandatory. It’s good they won’t do it. It would also not be an exam, but a profanity.
06/12/2017. You can put 15 million schoolchildren, students and professors in the same uniform. But in life, people don’t walk equally dressed. The same applies to textbooks. The same facts should be considered in them, but their presentation, analysis, interpretation should be different. Like books, movies, TV shows, people. The purpose of the school is to teach you to draw your own conclusions, to be able to defend them, but at the same time live in peace with someone who is not like you and who does not agree with you. In science, teaching, in life itself, there can be and are different points of view on the same thing. The more honestly and objectively teachers talk about it, the sooner students learn about it, the better.
