Вчера после изрядной дозы виски и текилы впятером пытались перевести на английский название фильма "Географ глобус пропил". Оказалось не так-то просто. Конечный вариант звучал примерно так:
"A geographist got some money for selling a spherical map of the Earth and spent it on booze" (вариант: "and drank away").
P.S. Не спрашивайте, почему "geographIST", мы сами не знаем :)

Yesterday, after a fair dose of whiskey and tequila, the five of us tried to translate into English the name of the film "Geographer drank the globe." It turned out to be not so simple. The final version sounded something like this:
"A geographist got some money for selling a spherical map of the Earth and spent it on booze" (option: "and drank away").
P.S. Do not ask why "geographIST", we ourselves do not know :)
