В каждом их этих отчет в седьмой главе, которая называется "Science and Technology: Public Attitudes and Understanding", рассказывается об отношении общества к науке и технологии. Для Вас будет, мне кажется, интересно посмотреть отчеты и за 2008, 2006 и др. более ранние годы и обобщить все, что характеризует отношение общества к данной области в США, и разработать предложения для нас. You may find it helpful to look at NSF (National Science Foundation) reports, such as Science and Engineering Indicators 2010 (which are published every two years. Each of these reports, in the seventh chapter, entitled "Science and Technology: Public Attitudes and Understanding", tells about the attitude of society to science and technology.It seems to be interesting for you to look at the reports for earlier, 2008, 2006 and other years and summarize everything that characterizes the attitude of society to this area in the USA and develop proposals for us. link
