Хочу всем объявить. С первого марта в Еврейском музее начинается цикл современного документального кино о народах России. Мы будем показывать кино, а после показа антропологи, социологи и другие специалисты вступят в дискуссию по той или иной социальной проблеме, затрагиваемой в фильме. Мы будем говорить о современном и традиционном на Северном Кавказе и в Якутии, о мигрантах в Москве, о промышленном освоении Севера и коренных народах; об интернатской системе и кочевниках; о ханты и ногайцах, чукчах и удэгейцах, таджиках и якутах. Я всегда мечтал о том, чтобы в Москве появилась площадка, на которой можно было бы представить современную жизнь регионов, поговорить и послушать лекции этнологов, рассказать и узнать о том, что сейчас актуально. Мы не ставим своей целью осветить все пространство страны и охватить весь спектр вопросов. Надо сказать, что цикл документального кино – это лишь начало и часть большого проекта Еврейского музея. Будут сезоны художественных фильмов, театра, танца, музыки, литературы. А пока приходите! О каждом из кинопоказов я буду писать отдельно

I want to announce to everyone. On March 1, the Jewish Museum begins a cycle of modern documentary films about the peoples of Russia. We will show a movie, and after the show, anthropologists, sociologists and other specialists will enter into a discussion on a particular social issue addressed in the film. We will talk about modern and traditional in the North Caucasus and Yakutia, about migrants in Moscow, about the industrial development of the North and indigenous peoples; about the boarding system and nomads; about Khanty and Nogai, Chukchi and Udege, Tajiks and Yakuts. I always dreamed that in Moscow there would be a platform on which one could present the modern life of the regions, talk and listen to the lectures of ethnologists, tell and learn about what is now relevant. We do not set as our goal to illuminate the entire space of the country and cover the whole spectrum of issues. I must say that the cycle of documentary films is only the beginning and part of a large project of the Jewish Museum. There will be seasons of feature films, theater, dance, music, literature. In the meantime, come! I will write about each of the film screenings separately
