Cтихотворение «The invitation» американской поэтессы и писательницы Oriah Mountain Dreamer, проводящей духовные семинары и ретриты в США и Канаде, — самый вдохновляющий текст, который попался мне за путешествие после «Roll the Dice» Чарльза Буковски (известная визуализация «All the way»). Написанное женщиной, оно адресует мужчине, собеседнику, случайному встречному (и себе) такие вопросы, что даже если вы не владеете идеальным английским и поймёте треть, задумаетесь о самой сути. О том, о чём думают, когда провожают закат, забираются на вершину горы, ловят волну, импульсивно строят планы, картины пишут и прыгают в поезд на ходу.
The poem “The invitation” by the American poet and writer Oriah Mountain Dreamer, who conducts seminars and retreats in the USA and Canada, is the most inspiring text that I came across during my trip after Roll the Dice by Charles Bukowski (famous visualization “All the way”) . Written by a woman, it addresses such questions to a man, interlocutor, random person (and to herself) that even if you do not speak perfect English and understand a third, you will think about the essence. About what they think about when they see off the sunset, climb to the top of the mountain, catch the wave, impulsively make plans, write pictures and jump on the train on the go.
