В последний вечер напишу то, что давно хотел. Оду дверям Льежа. О, они великолепны! В первую свою поездку я совершено не обратил на это внимания. А во второй раз мне это бросилось в глаза и прямо шокировало. Потом три года я думал, что надо будет обязательно сделать фотографий, чтобы объяснить людям, что меня так задело. И вот! Конечно, я не утверждаю, что именно Льежские двери такие уникальные. Это может быть чертой всей западной Европы. А может и нет. У меня не такой большой опыт. Я делюсь тем, что видел сам.
Внешний вид дверей особо не зависит от района. Здесь нет многоэтажных панелек, и т.п. Да, есть старше, есть младше. Есть совсем гнилые. Подавляющее большинство - деревянные. На втором месте - стекло. Смотрите, если дом все же многоквартирный, то как правило это полностью стеклянная дверь со звоночками и щелями для почты. О, эти почтовые щели! Я уверен, что если в России открыть бизнес по производству фурнитуры для дверей (ручек, колотушек, щелей для почты), то он разорится. А здесь будет процветать! Здесь даже часто звонок не электрический, а натурально висит длиииинная цепочка, а за дверью к ней приделан колокольчик. Что может быть теплее и ламповее? Про таблички с именами я уже отдельно писал. Добавлю еще, что как правило рядом есть въезд в гараж или двор, оформленный воротами в едином стиле с дверью. Отдельным элементом декора также является номер дома. При чем здесь нумеруются не столько дома, сколько двери. Чаще всего в принципе в доме одна дверь, но, если уж так случилось, что дом достаточно длинный, то у каждого входа будет по номеру (см., например, "домик террористов" постом ниже). Большинство приложенных фото - это одна единственная улица Льежа (rue Louvrex), но есть парочка из Брюсселя. Ну, и не стал я скрывать "паршивую овцу" - ржавое нечто, стоящее на верхушке одной из местных достопримечательностей - улицы-лестницы из 378, кажется, ступеней Monagne de Bueren.
Подводя черту, скажу, что, конечно, оформление дверей - это отражение менталитета. Да, большинство из нас живет в огромных "муравейниках" и никак не может повлиять на вид своей входной двери, но, что вы скажете, если ее заменят на деревянную?.. А вот стеклянные, кстати, робко, но начинают ставить. И это замечательно. Все. Завтра в Питер.

What does it have to do with numbers not so much at home as doors. Most often, in principle, the house has one door, but if it so happened that the house is long enough, then each entrance will have a number (see, for example, the "house of terrorists" in the post below).
