Я не понимаю тех, кто во время религиозного праздника пытается указывать верующим на то, что в их религии есть несоответсвия, что праздновать тот или иной праздник глупо и так далее. Мне кажется, что это, как минимум, неуважение к тем, кто хочет праздновать.
Не знаю, как воспринимают это сами верующие, но мне кажется, что в вопросах религии, как шкалы моральных ценностей человека, важнее убежденность, настрой, состояние души. Конкретные исторические или астрофизические факты при этом не важны совершенно. Важна интерпретация. Происходит ли чудо на самом деле, или же это мистификация — не важно. В первую очередь это символ, плевать в который, мне кажется, просто-напросто непорядочно.
Каждый человек считает свою позицию правильной. К сожалению, многие считают ее не просто правильной, а единственно правильной и пытаются навязать свои взгляды остальным. Религия кажется глупой — надо убедить всех вокруг в том, что мы произошли от обезьяны. Кажется, что наука не объясняет происхождение человека — объявим науку бесполезной. И в таком духе.
Мне лично все равно, что висит у человека на шее — крестик, заговоренный оберег, звезда Давида, знак доллара, пентаграмма или подаренная любимым человеком половина сердечка. Не это является определяющим. Если человек строго следит за чистотой, то не важно, делает он это из соображений гигиены или же ему так велит религия. Точно так же, если кто-то решил три года не мыться, не вижу смысла выяснять у него причину. Я, например, не понимаю, как можно не есть мясо. Обед без мяса — деньги на ветер. Кто-то не ест его в пост, потому что религиозен, кто-то не ест его вообще, потому что вегетарианец. Я так не могу, но если им нравится, то зачем пытаться убедить их в том, что им на самом деле плохо. Особенно если учесть, что им ни разу не плохо от этого. Хочет человек во что-то верить или чем-то руководстоваться — его право.
Кажется, что кто-то верит в абсолютную несуразицу? Вы точно знаете, что творится у этого человека на душе? Все ваши действия четко мотивированы и просчитаны до мелочей? Эмоции — чуждое вам понятие? Если на все вопросы ответ положительный, то может быть, проблемы на самом деле у вас?
То, что некоторые вещи в поведении окружающих могут казаться странными, я считаю нормальным. Я уважаю тех, кто меня окружает и уверен, что каждый сам в состоянии подумать и решить, как ему жить, во что верить и чем руководствоваться, тем более, что доля иррациональности — то, без чего мир бы сошел с ума по крупному.

I do not understand those who, during a religious holiday, try to point out to believers that there is a discrepancy in their religion, that it is stupid to celebrate this or that holiday, and so on. It seems to me that this is at least disrespectful to those who want to celebrate.
I don’t know how believers themselves perceive this, but it seems to me that in matters of religion, as a scale of human moral values, more important is conviction, attitude, state of mind. Concrete historical or astrophysical facts are not important at all. The interpretation is important. Whether a miracle really happens, or is it a hoax, doesn’t matter. First of all, this is a symbol, which, I think, is simply dishonorable.
Each person considers his position correct. Unfortunately, many consider it not just right, but the only right one and try to impose their views on the rest. Religion seems stupid - we need to convince everyone around us that we are descended from a monkey. Science does not seem to explain the origin of man - let us declare science useless. And in that spirit.
I personally don’t care what is hanging on a man’s neck - a cross, a charmed amulet, a star of David, a dollar sign, a pentagram or a half heart donated by a loved one. This is not decisive. If a person strictly monitors cleanliness, it doesn’t matter whether he does it for reasons of hygiene or whether religion so commands him. In the same way, if someone decided not to bathe for three years, I see no reason to find out the reason from him. For example, I do not understand how you can not eat meat. Lunch without meat - money down the drain. Someone does not eat it in fasting, because it is religious, someone does not eat it at all, because it is a vegetarian. I can’t do this, but if they like it, then why try to convince them that they really feel bad. Especially when you consider that they are never bad from this. A person wants to believe in something or to be guided by something - his right.
Does anyone seem to believe in complete absurdity? Do you know exactly what’s going on with this person’s soul? Are all your actions clearly motivated and calculated to the smallest detail? Are emotions an alien concept? If the answer is yes to all questions, then maybe you really have problems?
The fact that some things in the behavior of others may seem strange, I think is normal. I respect those around me and I am sure that everyone is able to think and decide how to live, what to believe and what to be guided by, especially since the share of irrationality is something without which the world would go crazy for a big one.
