Окропив водой голову со Стоп Гуру, памятуя о Стопах Гуру, вы получите пунью, заслугу, как от омовения во всех святых водах.
Комментарий Шри Вишвананды на отрывки:
11. "Через служение Стопам Гуру воплощенная душа проходит очищение, и с нее смываются все грехи". Итак, здесь Бхагаван Шанкара говорит, что наиболее простой способ смыть все грехи и очиститься - это предать себя Стопам Мастера. Это наиболее простой путь. Вы видите это в жизни многих святых.
На курсе по Бхагават Гите мы разговаривали про Дукхи Кришну. У него не было никакой мантры, никакой! Он ничего не просил у своего Гуру, он просто вручил себя своему Гуру. В возрасте 14лет он предался Стопам Гуру и беспрекословно слушался, о чем бы Мастер его не попросил. Мастер не давал ему выполнять большую-большую садхану, он попросту велел ему поливать грядки водой. С легкостью приняв слова Мастера и поливая грядки, он обрел Милость Шримати Радхарани.
Здесь Бхагаван Шанкара говорит, sriguroh padasevanat, что означает, что только через служение Стопам Гуру ваши грехи смываются, и вы становитесь чисты. Человек достигает Всевышнего, когда он становится подобным Шиве. Он достигает состояния Шивохам. И вы становитесь также великим преданным, когда Господь проявляет Себя в вас.
Но здесь Бхагаван Шанкара говорит, что это случается только через служение Стопам Мастера! Это не произойдет по случайности. Этого не случится, потому что Господь скажет: "Окей, сегодня я решил привести тебя на духовный путь, вот так вот!" Нет. Это произойдет, когда вы будете готовы отдать себя. Потому что служение Стопам Мастера происходит не их страха и не потому, что вас кто-то заставил это сделать. Нет. Это происходит из-за Любви! Потому что отношения между учеником и Мастером это отношения этой Любви. И здесь присутствует такая готовность служить Мастеру, что Милость и очищение сами происходят.
Tvatkrpatham vadami te, здесь Бхагаван Шанкара сообщил Парвати, что Он открывает Ей реальность из Милости, из Крипы. Потому что здесь Он обращается не к Ней как к Шакти. Он обращается к Ней как к мирозданию. Он говорит это Ей как каждой отдельной личности. Вот почему Он употребляет слово "Милость"; "я открываю Тебе это из Милости". Милость чрезвычайно важна. В индуистской традиции мы верим, что с погружением в воды Ганги мы очищаемся от греха многих жизней, от загрязнений многих жизней, множество кармы мы смываем с себя. Видите ли, Ганга берет свой источник в Лотосных Стопах Самого Нараяны. Далее, из Лотосных Стоп Нараяны, она входит в камандалу Брахмы [камандалу - продолговатый сосуд для воды в индуизме, аскеты часто используют его для хранения питьевой воды - прим. переводчика]. Она была послана на Землю, когда мудрец Бхагаратх совершал покаяние. Почему мудрец Бхагаратх совершал покаяние? Он делал это ради освобождения предков; не для себя, а для своих предков. Здесь Бхагаван Шанкара говорит, что выпив воды, которой омыли Стопы Мастера, и окропив ею себя, мы получим тот же результат, как если бы мы приняли омовение в водах Ганги. Having sprinkled water with your head from the Stop Guru, mindful of the Feet of the Guru, you will receive punya, merit, as from washing in all the holy waters.
Sri Vishwananda commentary on passages:
11. "Through service to the Feet of the Guru, the embodied soul undergoes cleansing, and all sins are washed away from it." So, here Bhagavan Shankara says that the easiest way to wash away all sins and to be cleansed is to betray yourself to the Feet of the Master. This is the easiest way. You see this in the lives of many saints.
In the Bhagavad-gita course, we talked about Dukhi Krishna. He had no mantra, no! He did not ask anything from his Guru, he simply handed himself to his Guru. At the age of 14, he surrendered to the Feet of the Guru and obediently obeyed, whatever the Master would ask him to. The master did not allow him to perform a big, big sadhana, he simply ordered him to water the beds with water. Having easily accepted the words of the Master and watering the beds, he gained the Grace of Srimati Radharani.
Here Bhagavan Shankara says sriguroh padasevanat, which means that only through serving the Feet of the Guru your sins are washed away and you become clean. Man reaches the Almighty when he becomes like Shiva. He reaches the state of Shivoham. And you also become a great devotee when the Lord manifests Himself in you.
But here Bhagavan Shankara says that this happens only through serving the Feet of the Master! This will not happen by accident. This will not happen, because the Lord will say: "Okay, today I decided to bring you on the spiritual path, like this!" No. This will happen when you are ready to give yourself. Because the service to the Feet of the Master is not their fear and not because someone made you do it. No. This is because of Love! Because the relationship between the student and the Master is the relationship of this Love. And here there is such a willingness to serve the Master that Grace and purification themselves occur.
Tvatkrpatham vadami te, here Bhagavan Shankara informed Parvati that He was revealing Her reality from Grace, from Creepa. Because here He is not referring to Her as Shakti. He turns to Her as a universe. He says this to Her as every single person. That is why He uses the word "Grace"; "I reveal it to You out of Grace." Grace is extremely important. Bhagavan Shankara emphasizes that without Grace, whatever you do, it will not lead you to anything. But by Grace, She will bring you herself. Grace is like a Mother who carries a child in her arms.

Here Bhagavan Shankara said: "If you irrigate your head with water from the Stop Guru, mindful of the Feet of the Guru, you will get punya, merit, as from washing in all holy waters" Drinking Caranamrita - water that was washed by the Feet of the Master - or sprinkling yourself with it , a man was like swimming in the Ganges.
In the Hindu tradition, we believe that with immersion in the waters of the Ganges we are cleansed from the sin of many lives, from the pollution of many lives, we wash away a lot of karma from ourselves. You see, the Ganges takes its source at the Lotus Feet of Narayana Himself.
